I did this demo earlier using sketchup 7 (free version ) and thought it may help some of you who haven't messed with sketchup that much yet.

It may not be the best way to make terrains but it works for me ;)

I added a zip file with the wordpad document enclosed

Glad you liked the 1st tutorial so far. I have a ton of them I'll be more than happy to share ;)

This one shows how i like to make a coffin , or a treasure chest, anything with a curved surface, and it also shows a little abourt the offset tool as well.
