Ideas for sketchup tutorials (for what you want to build)

I notice there are quite a few people around on this forum who love sketchup but have a hard time with it. I'm thinking it's because the tutorials are not directed at what they are trying to achieve and they dont explain why they should do things a particular way in order to achieve what the want.

I was wondering if you guys would like some tutorials put together but based on the kind of things you want to build in sketchup?

Any suggestions?

if we could get an idea of what people are looking to build in sketchup and or are having difficulty with i would be more than happy to put them together.

HI there...If u can put together a simple room...would be great...!~
Perhaps u can look at ZW's tutorials...and make those same rooms with Google?....

This way we can see how its done with a 2D ap and a 3D ap?..:D

Up to u..just thought 'd suggested it..:D

A very first tutorial with the basics is necessary (this word gets on my nerves I never spell it right now I googled it)... I used to design some places in Sketchup but I didn't know how to create separate objects like chairs, furniture etc and move them in space... So my furniture just expanded walls or the floor

This would be great for Bite By Byte, if you agree I will use the article as I put the magazine together.

That went through twice...

If anyone needs help with the bare basics (like keeping furniture from messing with the walls and floor) I'd be glad to help too.

Im extremely interested in this,

I have trouble with the basic as is, Personally my overall goal would be to be able to create interiors, and be able to apply custom textures of effects.
Furniture and such like...oh whoops getting ahead of myself again.

I would like a starters basic tutorial for making a room.

A VERY basic tutorial... *Blushes*

If you aren't experienced at drawing ..You could try ZW's tutorial as a starter...then use what u gained from it..in another ap..Really helped me create 3D scenes..in 2D aps..:)..I just recreated what he did in Paint..then after that...I used Photoimpressions..or Paint.net..Or a Google ap..cause now i had some of the basic knowledge..

Peace
