This is a plugin I 've planned releasing for a long time, nothing too special though

This easy to use plugin doesn't have a lot of fancy features, but what it does have is an alternative TextBoxObject for you to use.
You can alter the text using setText "text", get it using getText() or set the position during runtime using setPosition x,y,w,h

Although, most of these things could have easily been done before (except for the passwordchar and the maxlength ).

No, maxlength and passwordchar are available in normal textboxes too. The feature that is added using this plugin is the multiline property + the ability to easily manage the textboxes (no code needed)

The Multi-line property makes this a viable solution for Journal input. While I like the "handwritten" look with the image character solution for a journal, it doesn't lend itself for international use, unless you are willing to draw all the possible characters.

Using Lyberodoggy's plugin takes this problem away. I plan on trying this out when I'm done with some of the other things I'm working on.

Feel free to inform me about any bugs. Didn't have quite the time to test it...
