PlugIn suggestion ?

Postby mercedes » Tue Jun 07, 2011 4:04 pm

Ok..
You know how AM has the option, for us to check off...[Project Properties]

*Show the option to change resolution to 1064x780*

Would it feasible..That if a plug in...was made..;
Or perhaps something in the newer version of AM..could be implemented..

So that the user could check off..a custom one themselves.....

Of course we would still have to have the option to check it off..[Custom-Let user decide]
There might have to be some sort parameter there though..

This way the user could pick whichever one they wanted..to play in..And gamemasters..wouldn't have to worry about changing it in run-time..
[If it's indeed related..]

*********
I thought I would throw this out there..as an idea..
Is there an idea there..?

It's very feasible. In fact, I posted the vb code..just have to make it into a plugin.

I can't...I have to get my own working first. :?

I'm thinking in a plugin similar to the 'Simple Menu Plugin', but without dependence of expertise in scripting .

How it's could be:

The action verbs would stay permanently on the screen (like Shadowgate for NES, anyone remember that?).
To each combination using a verb and a hotspots, we can select a consequence action (how all the default actions from AM, how 'go to another frame', 'display a text', among others).
Certainly, the nomenclature of all the verbs could be editable, that is, in terms of implementation, don't matters what the name of the verb, but the action selected for it.
As for the icons, dont be equal to the 'Simple Menu', where each verb have a especific icon. To those who wants this feature, could be resolved using the 'Keyguard Plugin'.

And for last, but not the least, the interface where the verbs are layed, could be editable, to allow contextalization in the game.

I hope you like my suggestion.
