Virtual keyboard

Postby smac96 » Thu Oct 13, 2005 8:15 pm

Support for the PSP is the coolest feature I ever seen in Adventure Maker! Amazing :-)

I just have a question: how is it possible to "emulate" a virtual keybord to input text? I have a lot of "type-the-correct-word based puzzles"

Thank you

PS: Now I go buy the 4.0 licence ;)

PPS: Can I use the PSP with firmware 1.5? Or in order to play the games I have to install the firmware 2.0? (I really don't like the 2.0 because I cannot play all the homebrew software)

Hi,

It is very difficult at the moment to emulate a virtual keyboard for the PSP.

Maybe one day I will add JavaScript support, but I don't know yet if I will.

As far as v1.5 is concerned, you need v2.0 or above to play the games, because they make use of the build-in browser.

Best regards,

I might be weird, but I think the current "virtual" keyboard Sony has provided is quite good (even better when you know how to use it's shortcuts).
Would you like to transform your AM project(s) into a more portable & secure package ?

If so, then visit the "AM Transformer" forum here for more information!
