People are having trouble downloading my game and i don't know what to say or what to do.

"I downloaded the file and saved it to my computer. Then, it comes out with "What program do you want to open it with? I tried internet explorer but nothing happens" - a freind.

Another freind said the following message came up:

File Type: Unknown
Description: Windows does not recognize this file type.
The following Web sites have a comprehensive list of file extensions. You might be able to find information about this file type there:

Can you post the link please? Then we could better help you.

And do you have a full version that makes an .exe file or do you have your game as AM file? If it's an AM file, people have to download AM free version to be able to play it. If you have made an .exe file, it should install itself automatically (and players can play it without having AM).

I see, so users need to download the game maker itself first to play my game? :(

Which version should I tell them to download.

If you work with a free version of AM, you are not able to make stand alone executables (.exe files). In this case, your friends have to download also a free version here:
http://www.adventuremaker.com/downloads.htm

In case that you upgrade your free version to full version (for non-commercial use is now on discout for 69 $), you will be able to make .exe files and players can play your games without downloading the free version of Adventure Maker.

These are the two possibilities.
