Is it allowed to include Adventure Maker in the .zip file?

Postby Elynn » Sun May 20, 2007 4:13 pm

So, I would like to put the games I made availale for free download on some website, and I wonder if it's allowed to include Adventure Maker in the .zip download file and link to your site in the text or I need to tell the players to get the Adventure Maker on your site? I have the Free Version of the Adventure Maker.

Elynn, you may have misunderstood something here. It is not necessary for the persons playing your games to have Adventure Maker, the games will be playable anyway.

Well, I have the free version, and on the website is says that in order to play games created with free version, you have to download the AM first-only users with Full Edition can create executable files (.exe). Or did I really got it wrong?

I guess Elynn is right this time, for creators of free AM it is needed for the end-user to have AM installed.
