Is it possible? An example: a sky moving in a 360 degree scenario.

If you have a small portion of the panorama that you want to animate (the whole sky would be too slow), you can easily do so by creating a hotspot and choosing "Looping video" under the "Appearance" section of the "Hotspot Properties" window.
You can select an AVI video and it will be played seamlessly inside the 360-degree panorama. I have just (re)tested it and it works fine if the video area is not too big (otherwise it is jerky).
Not suitable for large areas like the sky though (too jerky).

Someone, Riobros or Candle I think, also posted a method for moving an image across the screen, which might work for a cluster of moving clouds or something.
