If I am not right, someone should correct me, but I am kind of sure that it is not yet possible with the 3rd person plugin.

I have limited knowledge about AM's features; however, Harvester is right it is not currently possible to make platform scrollers with AM. The engine is specialized in click based adventure games ala Shadowgate, D?j?-Vu, or games in the veins of Myst and to a certain degree Still Life.

What you can do is to have a scrolling effect when moving between a frame and the next one. To do so, choose a target frame under the "hyperlink" section of the "Hotspot Properties", and then check "transition" and choose "Slide Left" or "Slide Right".
