make the 3rd person walk around a table

hello everybody

i saw a tutorial "Here is how to make the 3rd person walk around a table" on the forum. The tutorial work fine but i have a pbs:
my character walk around the table, but when my character is behind the table and i click below my picture my character walk accross the table. is there a solution to block the way accross the table to oblige my character walk around the table to go below my picture???? peraphps with hotspot there is a solution but i don't know how to do.
Someone can help me?

There is a solution but its incredibly long and tedious and would take ages to explain. But... I think it might solve your problem. If you want me to post it, let me know.
