Postby kazzag78 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 2:22 pm

Hi

I just wondered if there's a way on the basic edition to add a simple score machanism?

I realise there's variabbles which can be used in the basic package but what can I do with these?

help is greatly appreciated :)

Hi kazzag78, welcome to the forums :)

I'm afraid that a score system can't be created and displayed without using VBScript.

With the free version of AM - by using variables - you can create different kinds of small puzzles, e.g.
- A small numeric code
- puzzle with switches
- Enable certain hotspots (for picking up items, or to open doors) only if the player has picked up a certain item
- Let the player go to a certain screen depending of what items they have
- Let the player put together a small jigsaw puzzle of some pieces; or let them add pieces to a certain item in the correct order
etc.
