What Does the Forum Rules Mean by the Term "Bump"?

Postby 3dgamer » Wed Dec 17, 2008 7:53 am

Hi there,

I read the forum rules and I noticed there was a rule which said:

"Do not bump old topics(start a new post)"

I don't quite understand what the term "bump" means. Does it mean do not start a new topic at the end of an old thread? Could someone please explain this a bit more? I would hate to unwittingly "bump" a topic without knowing it.

Thanks! :)

Don't post two times in a row.
Don't go back a year and post to and old thread.
Please don't PM me questions, ask here in the forums!

Hi Candle,

Thank you for the explanation. I am a newbie here as well as new to game development and AM so I just wanted to know before I started posting other messages to the forums.

Thanks again! :)
