Making a toolbar

Postby brewster1952 » Mon Jan 26, 2009 9:44 pm

Has anybody created (or is there a way to create) a custom toolbar with access to game notes or items the player needs to review? It could be similar to an inventory list. Player could click on toolbar, see and read a note with clues, then return to the exact same frame.

Is your tool bar..going to have a number of features..Or is it just one hotspot..say a briefcase, that takes them to one frame only...? or more than one frame..

toolbar

Postby brewster1952 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 3:34 am

It would be similar to the Inventory, and available to the player just like the Inventory tab. I want to put 5 sets of notes and images there and all 5 must be retrieved (following notes on them) before finishing the game.

Would it be better to place a hotspot that takes you to an toolbar instead? That might be easier, but definately not what I want.

Hi there...:D

oh ok...well the first link..allows u to examine an item that has multiple frames...then go back to where they started...and the second link shown allows u to examine an item..then if they go to another one..whilst viewing the first one..in between..they can go back "so many" frames..

Did u get a chance to view them..and see which suits ur needs..if u still have questions..please post ..:D..

You can also do this with hotspots..as opposed to frames..might save u work ..Up to u..:D

Peace
