3rd person game help.

Postby DISRUPTOR » Fri Apr 17, 2009 10:40 pm

Heloo, im a new here but i have had AM for a whil and i never tried outthe 3rd person option. I understand how it works so don't worry guys i am not a n00b. I just needed t know if it i possible to change the sprites for the player (to make alternate cotumes)
Can i lower the amount of sprites needed for walk animations (i am an artist and draw my own but the sprites i have made have less frames)
Is it possible to only have left right and up down sprites or do ihave to have he diagonal as well.
and can i have screens like the basic point and click ones or can i only use 3rd person.
Thanks in advance guys. I know it is a lot of questions but once i know i wont bug you further

Welcome to the forums Disruptor :)

You might want to check this thread about a similar question:

You can use a smaller number of sprites, however the animation of the movements will be choppy.

You can use both first and third person frames in your project.
