The Next Version of AM

Postby Zenoc2 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:48 pm

Is there one being worked on? Or is the whole thing on hold for a while?

One of the features I think a future version of AM could use is the ability to draw hotspots in shapes other than rectangles- freedraw, essentially. Any other ideas?

I hope this is the right forum area for this...

I think there may be a few..but here's one I could find.. Although it has features listed, for voting on...you can add your own too..:)

Where is GM these days..~He is m.i.a. again..;)
We may have to put a tracking device on him to keep track..!~

Yes, being able to draw hotspots in any shape would be much better. You should still be able to choose the square/rectangle option too though.

There's a control called shapeobject. You can simulate other shapes with that and use math to see if the coordinates of the mouse are inside the shape. However, you could never attach images to those

Hmm. Shape-object spelled as one word. Why do I get the feeling that it would involve scripting on my part? :(

No u couldn't add..but u should be able to draw a hotspot over top of an existing picture.....Like in my software I use for editing my pictures..I can make any size hotspot over an image..and add it as a layer..or whatever..
You start with placing mouse..and then clicking the next area..and the next..ect...till u get the shape u want..and it ends up meeting with the starting point..
