Yes, I am posting. And yes, I have posted this before but I just had a great idea.

The other day when I was trying to fix our Internet problem, we were attempting to use FTP to test our internet connection. My question is, could there be a plug-in that uses FTP to communicate with another person's computer and you could play some basic online play?

Another idea is possibly to have a plug-in that connects to a website and updates what frame the player is on, etc. Then, the other computers playing the game would read the website and recieve the other player's location, level, etc.

What do you think? It would be awsome, an adventure game through a pyramid that you could interact with other players, and possibly trade items needed to advance further into the pyramid.

I hope someone good in coding will see this post, because that would actually be awesome and make me to try to create a game again :)

I 've tried using the winsock ocx to create an ocx that would connect to servers but it was too difficult to handle. The basic idea is to pass all variables needed through the socket to the server and from there to other clients
