Hello, Friends,

I tried to register my new game on Indie DB, but there is no AM on a list of engines. :( Could you register AM there? I think it's worth it. Registration is free, and when you'll do this, AM users will gain the possibility to register their games.

Yes. And no... I registered my profile, and tried to register the engine, but... If you want to register the engine, you must register the company (engine owner) first. And I don't know, what company is the owner of AM.

THX, Mate... Anyway I think that the owner (or some admin) should register company and engine. Why? Because he will know better, what he want to write about his own work, which graphics will be better etc.

I don't know if GM-Support has time to register it.

But I assume that he would agree to post the text from the overview page:
http://www.adventuremaker.com/overview.htm

Adventure Maker is a free innovative toolkit to create point-and-click games and multimedia software in minutes, without any scripting or programming. It runs on Windows, and it allows creating software for Windows, PSP, iPhone, and iPod touch.

Adventure Maker is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is to import your pictures, add some hotspots to link the pictures to one another, and you are done!

Adventure Maker is particularly suitable for the creation of picture-based adventure games, virtual tours, educational software, presentations, and interactive visits.

When creating software for Windows, Adventure Maker provides "Load/Save Game" functions, conversations, inventory items, 360-degree interactive panoramas, support for Flash, multiple-CD distribution, third-person game characters for creating third-person adventure games, full-screen transitions, water/smoke effects, multi-channel sounds, animations, support for over 30 file types (OGG, XviD, DivX, mp3...), support for plugins, and more.

The Adventure Maker package contains an icon editor, a music composer, an innovative program for drawing, a program for batch resizing and compressing pictures, and more. The package also includes sample games, tutorials, and language presets for easily creating games in other languages (English, Catalan, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, and Spanish).

And for screenshots, maybe these two?:

If you're still hesitating, I can double check with GM :)

Sure! Please anyone feel free to register Adventure Maker on any website that you think might be useful to the AM community.

For that purpose, you have my authorization to fairly reuse any information and images available on the main AM website.

If you are given a login/password by the website you register Adventure Maker on, please feel free to forward it to contact2006 (at) adventuremaker.com if you want it to be archived and kept in a safe place in case someone needs it in the future.

Best regards,
GM-Support

Does someone registered AM as engine and AM as company there?

I don't saw it on the lists...

I'm asking because I just add AM Team as company and I'm waiting for approval. Then I'll add AM as engine and put my games there... :)

Post your member, group, developer, and/or publisher name, so we can each become members of each other's groups.

I'm still learning how this site works, but here is what I've done so far tonight.

member: reneuend
developer: hick chick games
publisher: hick chick games
game: rotten luck

I find setting some of this up a bit confusing, but I'm sure that after working with it for awhile, I'll figure it out.

And this is the engine profile: http://www.indiedb.com/engines/adventure-maker

I think that Tracking is the way on this site... My Internet is really slow, so I'll check it on 1st... :/

Hey V66,

Could you please update the Adventure Maker Company Summary to show that the latest version of AM is compatible with Windows 7.

I updated both company and engine sites.

I just added Rainbow Entertainment and I'm waiting to be reviewed first. I'm putting my games there, it has a lot of views as for now... 8)
