Selling Games

Postby Merrie » Tue Jan 11, 2011 1:09 am

I noticed the game site is no longer here, I was wondering are there other websites you can submit your exe games? I also work with Unity3D and many games are done via a browser or a browser like client, so its a very popular game format currently.

Any thoughts on this guys?

I do know there are two programs out there that will convert .exe to a .swf so you can play it in a browser, shown in a different thread and I found another but the many games to one website costs a good amount of money.

I would like to sell a few of my upcoming games for a bit of moola just to help pay for the art I purchase sometimes.

What game site are you referring that no longer exists? It must have been before my time.

There is a list of downloadable ones: http://www.adventuremaker.com/free_games_for_windows_downloads.php

OSA kit is without a doubt much better than web game builder and is much more browser-friendlly. However, I'd say by the unrealistic price for the software is what makes me think that they don't have much buisiness to speak of. I would never intend to buy that software, web game builder is worth the money I paid for it. $40 for one game is probably worth it, but with double the money you could get as many games as you want embeded using web game builder. Just a recomendaton for everyone :-)
