Example game

Ok, in the example game for the iphone, they have a key that you can pick up and put into a door. How is this achieved? I know it has to be variables because thats the only thing that it can possibly be but I dont know how its done.

Edit: Wait, I think I figured it out. They key becomes a variable of 1 when it is clicked (picked up)...... and then the hotspot on the door has to have a variable of one.

Hi there..:)

The key would become =1 is where you start the variable..the door would be not visible until Key =1. IN other words you could have 2 hotspots on the door. ...1 Hotspots is equal = 0 until they find the key..You could have it say "You need a key" The other is not visible until they find the Key. It becomes =1 when they find it. :)
