Orchestral Composition with MuseScore

Postby mrmyst » Thu Jul 28, 2016 3:45 pm

I recently discovered an awesome open source software called MuseScore, which allows you to make music by simply entering the notes. You have access to any instruments, many more than using MIDI. The quality might not be as good as if you play it on the real corresponding instruments, but i think, its usable in adventure games at least as a preview, before the music is (expensive) recorded. Here is an example of orchestral music with MuseScore, i just composed to demonstrate the quality:

Although there is Music Maker, that comes with AM, i personally recommend MuseScore, since it has many more functions. However, for the first tries, Musik Maker might be better to learn without confusing professional features.
