Hey, did you know that if you use an equalizer and remove the highest frequencies, you can eliminate background noise (such as the hum of a computer).

Just something I picked up a few months ago...

Yes I 've learned that from a magazine, but I don't know how to do it and which prog to use...

Thanks anyway...

Well, a free one would be MAGIX MUSIC MAKER 11 SILVER... that one could do it for you.

The one I use is in SONAR (but that cost around 500 euro!)...

There are other programs as well, and they all do the same thing.

The free edition is quite good, there are some features missing, but for the most part you'll be doing okay. Unless you want to work with harmonies or MIDI, then you might want to buy the full edition.

Sonar can be bought for lower prices, the home editions are at about 130-200 Euros, not much for such a professional program, I use that too. However for such purpose mentioned here I use Nero Wave Editor, a quite widespread program present in every Nero packs I guess, and that can do wonders for me.

Well once you have SONAR, you can upgrade for around 200 euro, so the initial investment in a pro edition pays off.
