The D'ni History Puzzle

Postby Din'nen » Thu Oct 13, 2005 9:26 pm

Its the ultimate Myst Fan Game... based loosely on the URU storyline.

You have to have URU to finish the game - you simply will not be able to finish the 100+ puzzles without it. You also need at least a Dial up connection, however a broadband would be nice for the 50+ mb download.

Come join us on the 15th !

btw: Game Engine is off course Adventure Maker. But it also has unconventional use of the internet.

If the download server supports resuming broken downloads then you should be able to use a program that "can" resume broken downloads. More often than not, it was my ISP rather than the remote server that was dropping the connection.

Before I got broadband cable, I used to use the "free" Opera browser for this purpose. It's still free AFAIK and allows you to pause / resume multiple downloads. Although, there are probably other freebies out there that are less complicated than an entire browser beware of spyware supported ones.

I had it stop on me but I use Opera and just restarted it and got it downloaded.
Really nice looking game.

this is a very professional looking game.
the graphics are top notch. Music is perfect.
I hope the creators are making their own stories
and games. Very very talented.
