WAIT!!! CIPHER MAY NOT WORK!

As you know, 9th Edition is special. There will be a cipher (read about it in previous post) which you must decode. This will give you a website. You go there. You enter your AM username AND e-mail. Here are the rules:

- Please, for dam sake, <sorry i cursed, wanted to get point out> don't ask others for the website, don't tell others, or post the link anywhere on the forum or I will personally ask for you to be banned.
- The special editions will start to be circulated the 15th and the 15th only. Don't send me 95 e-mails screaming for your special edition.
- Once you get the edition in the e-mail, you cannot forward it to anyone else.
- This should be fun! DONT CHEAT!!!
-Also, don't enter more than once, since I only have 25 web-forms. If we reach that number, I will post how to get your edition.

EDIT: Mates, I'm sorry if you're article wasn't included in the cipher. I was just going nuts trying to get this out. If I missed your article becuase of my excess of PMs and e-mails, I'm sorry, I don't think I missed any, but I'll include it in next edition if I did.

If the website dosen't work, send me a PM telling me what you think it is. The cipher could be wrong since I was hurrying.

Is the cover page counted in the page numbers in the cipher?

EDIT: My bad, should have actually, you know, read the part that answers my question. :?

Are you SURE you sent it? Either I accidently deleted it (unlikely) or you wrote it and didn't send it to me. Can you check your Sent box?

I'm sorry if I did lose it and would happy to feature it next issue. :)

Btw, who wrote the following articles in the 9th edition (for some reason I can't find a byline with them)?:

1) "How to Write Great Storylines for your Games, Part III"

2) "Programming #5"

Just curious.

Thanks.

1) I think that it is reneuend with Zenoc, sorry if I am wrong

2) Me.

You can't find the names on them because they are parts of series. I think that in the starting issue you will find the names

It must have been Zenoc for (1). I did the short piece on the PlaySound routine.

Thanks, Lyberdoggy, for the info and thanks, reneuend, for the confirmation.

I think including the names in each article is a great idea, Chickens, because then if someone is new to the magazine (like myself) and hasn't gotten a chance to read the other articles yet, they will still know who wrote them.

Btw, I am still trying to understand the concept behind this "allendorf cipher" thing. Is this something we have to do to get more articles from the magazine? I am just trying to understand if this is a game or if it is part of obtaining more of the magazine, etc..?

And please pardon my lack of knowledge regarding the cipher thing because I tried looking up the term "allendorf cipher" and couldn't find an origin/history definition of it on the Net. I did find some references to movies though. Is it a real concept or word phrase or simply something taken from the movies? Does anyone have any origin/history information of this word phrase?

Just curious.

Thanks. :)

check my earlier post with some information... think it's called special edition information or something, or watch the hit film National Treasure with Nicholas Cage.

Okay, thanks Lyberodoggy, thanks Chickens.

@ Lyberodoggy

Thanks for the alternate spelling...I think I can do more research on that...

@ Chickens

I did actually read some of your earlier posts, but I guess I couldn't make out how the extra info was related to the magazine content/articles. And the movie is n/r for me...but thanks...
