Hello. I'm here with an update about the Adventure Maker Awards. I am going to pronounce nominations done, even though it isn't Wednesday, since we have plenty of nominations! You may notice on the voting ballot that I added some others, since a few categories only had 1 person. Some of these additions you may not agree with but I find them 100% qualified to at least be voted upon. I will do an update post Thursday or Wednesday telling you how the live show will work. And one final update: The awards show may be moved, I will update in 48-72 hours.

Voting ballot: http://www.bitebybyte.webs.com/ go to "Vote". Please only vote once and vote for people that you think should truly win.

Nice but some things are a bit wrong (in my opinion).

1. Voting with username-signature? It would be better if it was secret...
2. Very small number of contestants per category (for example, only 2 BbB writers??????)

An input box is much better than m.c.q.

Yes, I realize the thing with usernaME, i just dont want people voting more than once. Just a precaution.

Well, c'mon, look what reneuend has done for the magazine. Saturn, you and many others have helped out a lot, but you would be amazed the amount of time he puts into the magazine.

Actually, this contest does help show some of the improvements needed in future contests!

While we all know its just for fun, when its done right, no one feels slighted.

In my opinion, we need to build a webpage where you must sign in first to vote. The sign-in information would only save that the user has voted and not who they have voted for.

I can build the page, but the only way I can prove that a voter's vote is not correlated is to make the webpage code available. (which I would be willing to do). :)

Obviously, its too late for this contest, but this might be something we can try in the future.

Well, reneuend, you're right, but then that gets too complicated if new users want to vote, and issuing the passwords, but if you could do it correctly it would be great next year.

Oh, thought I could vote in the threads, sorry.
I think you should have let those threads closed when voting was up. Otherwise it's a bit confusing.
Anyhow I voted.
