Welcome to the forums jasonhan416 :)
From the error message it seems that the game creator didn't set a starting screen in the Project Properties.
Do you have the opportunity to contact him/her about the issue?

The starting screen can be set by going to the Project Properties, and on the General Tab, setting the Initial Frame in the drop-down list.

From what I understand from the screenshot that you have provided, either there is no initial frame defined, or the screen "opener00" doesn't exist.

No you can't open .am1 files directly from Adventure Maker to edit them. These files are compiled, and not in raw format anymore.

If you are not the game creator, then you can't get the screen "openener00", it might be missing from the project - you must contact the game developer.

"opener00" is the name of one of the screens in the game, that appears to have been taken out, while another screen still links to it.
