Hi!

We are having problems launching AM since midnight (1st January)

The error message is: This version of Adventure Maker is outdated. Please download a newer version from: www.adventuremaker.com

How come it's suddenly outdated?

The license is only good for a year.
As far as I know you so would have to renew in on the first of 2006

Hi Rooster,

You must be using the Free Edition of one of the first builds of AM 4.0 (please let me know if it is not true).

The message should have disappeared in AM v4.1, v4.2, and newer.

Hi!

The version is 4.0.2 but it's not the Free edition, it's the full professional edition.

Anyway, I've downloaded and installed 4.2.0 and it works fine.

Hi,
I have the same problem only I already have the newest version (4.2.0 Build 4, full edition, non-commercial use) installed and reinstallation did NOT help!
Some advice would be welcome, thanks Walter

Walter GM will have to help you with that so wait till he comes in and he will tell you what to do.

Hi,

No problem. The pop-up message that appears when you start the program is wrong and can be ignored. It says that you should download a newer version, but if you have v4.2.0 build4, it is useless to download/reinstall the file because you will still get the message. Please just ignore the pop-up until a free update of Adventure Maker is released.

Im having the same problem, iv just bought the full version and downloaded the newest file, but i get the message that its a very old version and i should download a new one. its a bit anoying, how can i get rid of the message?
