using the PlaySound script

Postby Skye » Wed Mar 22, 2006 8:03 am

Is there any way to know which channel the PlaySound script uses when it starts an audio file?

I want to be able to use script to start background music after loading a saved game but when I do, I don't seem to be able to turn it off using the stop option in the audio tab of the frame properties

Is there a special reason why you don't use script also to stop the sound (instead of using the stop function in the frame properties)?

Yes, I suppose I could do that It just means that I would have to script ALL the background music changes and I have quite a few :o( and that didn't seem the most effecient way to do things.

Hi,

Use the MediaPlayerObject, you can add an index, just like you need.

You can also use the EZTalk plugin which does the work for you :wink:

Have fun !

Kind regards,
