Video Resolution Problems

Hi!

I currently have copies of my game out for review and one of the reviewers is having a problem he describes as:

Unfortunately when I try to run it I get a black
screen that says it can't display the video resolution, or something like
that

I asked him to try one of the game demos - which I believed to be using the same set up and he had no problems.

Has anyone seen this before or can someone suggest what might be going wrong?

He does not have the codec installed that you used when you made the video.
Thats what happens when you get a black screen. no codec to run the video.
What codec did you encode the video with?

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

I used Xvid codec and I thought I included it in the install for the CD. I check and see if he installed it or not.
