Inventory Button

Is there a way of getting rid of the small inventory button on the left, but still maintain the drop-down inventory? Thanks!

I believe you need to use one or the other with that plugin.

Yes.

Make a GIF file in one color and make that color transparent, and use that as your "inventory" button. (I made an all black image, 149 x 22 pixels in size, and made black transparent.) Import the file and on the Inventory tab of the Project Properties specifiy that GIF file as your Inventory Button. When the game runs, your inventory button is inivisible, but the inventory still drops down when the cursor is up at the upper left corner of the screen.

Thanks for the info. but everytime I take the gif into AM it is rejected. Can this gif with transparency be done in paint?

Weird, but AM needs one pixel of color in the gif inventory button with transparency to recognize it. Total transparency is rejected.

Here's the one that I made.

Because it is a totally transparent GIF file, it looks totally blank. But if you right click towards the left margin between these two areas of text and choose SAVE PICTURE AS... you should see the name of the file, TRANS_INV.gif, on the pop-up. Just save it to wherever you want to use it. The Inventory folder for your AM project is where I'd put it.
