Screen Resolution.

Postby Dicon » Mon Nov 26, 2007 6:54 pm

I am using Vista. I set my page picture to 800 / 600 but when testing, the lower and right hand side of the picture is lopped off. I do set the initial setting on the loading screen 800 / 600 but, even with the picture 800 / 600, it gets truncated. Any advice?

You will see the change when you run the game as testingdoes not show the game the same way.
Try the game from the game menu.

Sorry, first off, I am using MX, Vista is on the other computer.
I have tried all you have asvised. Nothing changes the cut off from the bottom and the left hand side.
I will try to upload the two images that show the problem. It may be on two posts.

Sorry, the first ones I tried to send were too big. I hope this works.

Yes, they are.
But now I have reduced them to 640 / 480, they fit the screen. This is odd cause I never use that size. All my graphics are 800 / 600, but the game creator doesn't like them. BUT, at the start of the compiled game, it asks if I want to set the res. to 640 / 480 and I do, it cuts the 800 / 600 ( right hand side ) and bottom off.
So, can the game only use 640 / 480 and nothing else? Or can I change it?

Getting more confused .....................

You need to change the frames size in the options tab
to 800x600.

Many thanks, it now does it.
I need to play with it more. Many thanks.
I think the next intersting job for me is to have a conversation with a box.
This is going to be fun.
Thanks
