Variable not working..??

I don't know what is going on..but one of my variables is not working..

I have 2 hotspots..

1 is transparent..---is the one u drag the key too..--When u drag the key a variable GoldKey_used becomes 1

Then there is 1 underneath it the transparent one...is set so it can't be seen until GoldKey_used...

I have made this and set it to go to the next frame..as opposed to the key dragged properties.box~

Once the key is used..the user simply can click the door..and have it set to always do that..

This way the user doesn't have to always drag key to it to open the door..but for some reason it will not work..I' ve done this a hundred times..before..??

Any ideas of what might be going on... Is it possible if I used this variable before..but since changed my mind on where it can be used..that this would be happening..?

I've messed with this for a few days now ...i dont know, Feel realy dumb asking this...

Well, it should work - there must be a small mistake in your game as you have already suspected.
