Way to rename file in VBScript?

Is there a way to rename a file in the Areas folder via VBScript? Specifically, I need to change the file's extension while my game is running. Is this at all possible? Thanks!

This is already possible for many years by using my CommonDialog Plugin

Install the plugin and use the following methode:

RenameFile(OldName, NewName)

Easy as that
