This is a longshot, but is there any way to program text to appear at the bottom of the screen (ala Action.Message "text"), only have it fade in, hold for a few seconds, and then fade out? Thanks!

Hm... that would be difficult with vb. Only way to fade in/out currently is a frame transition.

Okay, thanks. I figured I'd ask, even though I knew it probably wouldn't be possible!

Easiest way to do that..is with 'Text' and a timed event...It's what i did..cause i like the effect as well..Also u don't have the bottom portion of your frame move..[where the message appears]..

You can also try it with pictures for the text and move them in x,y and also in height and width. It gives you and effect as the text/pictures becomes bigger and bigger and after a timed event it goes smaller and smaller
