Does AM output only to .exe files?
i.e. they are designed to make standalone programs?
Or can one put runnable stuff on the net?

The free version of AM produces .am1 files. To play those, players need to download the free version of AM.

The full version of AM produces .exe files to install on pc's - in this case the players don't need AM installed on their computers.

Additionally AM can create games for PSP, for iPhone/iPod Touch, and HTML javascript games. Note that for these, the features available are limited.
