Some friends using my game on Windows 7 are having the no sound problem discussed elsewhere on this forum--and are getting annoying error messages every time a sound is supposed to play. Which is often.
I'd like to create a silent version of the game for them, but there are dozens and dozens (maybe hundreds) of sound cue hotspots located throughout my game. I'm wondering if there is any simple way to remove all "play sound" instructions that doesn't involve hunting down each individual hotspot and changing it manually. (I'm assuming the "stop all sounds" option only works until the next sound is triggered, so that won't work, right?)
I'm not optimistic, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks!
