Retrieving the Image file used in a hotspot?

Postby reneuend » Mon Dec 27, 2010 3:40 pm

Can I get the name of the image file that is being used on a particular hotspot? Possibly a method or property for the Hotspot object?

Thanks.

Thanks woorps. I probably asked the question before. It sure would make it a lot easier and less messy than trying to track it with a variable.

There must be a way to do it. After all, there is an image related to each hotspot.

I also think there must be a way, but I'm unable to find the solution. :(

It would be nice if Shadowhunter could do a comment to this :)

Hi,

When an image is loaded to the picturebox or imagebox control it is stored binary and the only thing that you can return by "a = hotspot(x).picture" is a long value pointing to this binary information...

So it is indeed not possible, you should use the TAG property to store the string value of the path or filename at the same time you load the image, but you need to code it... That is the best solution.

Hope this helps.

With best regards,
