Are there any differences between wav and mp3 in AM?

I used couple of MP3 tracks, and I see, that fading is not working or working poor.

Should I change those tracks to wav files?

Yes. It did that when I made my Escape from Backyard game. Convert it to wav and you should be good ;-)

I could do that, but... I have got many tracks with music, so game's executable file will be huge...

I don't know what else to tell you, sorry it worked out like that, maybe the lack of fade feature won't be as much of a biggie as the file size.

Fading is also not supported by AM4.6.1 and WIN7.
So you should think if you really have a need for it.

@time-killer-games. I checked it out - changed mp3s to wavs - there is no difference on my computer. Small wav files are fading perfectly, bigger - like whole music track - aren't fading at all.

Anybody know, why???
