AM ERROR-- files are empty???

Postby mercedes » Tue Jun 28, 2011 7:56 am

I finally get rid of my errors..when i compile a project..
However, each time I compile a project..they appear empty..??

When i try to zip up an exe...and post it to this forum..It says;

You're trying to upload an empty file

Could someone please tell me if these extract and if the actual file launches..playable..There are only 2 frames..

http://www.gamefront.com/files/20489030/Unsolved+Mysteries+of+Time.exe

T.i.a..

I'm hoping its just the zipped up one..and not the EXE..

I want to compile my game...But this is happening now..
I don't know what to do ...

Hi!
No problems to install the exe and no problem to unzip the file and install the included exe.

I think it's a forum problem. I had this problem also a few times.

Thanks Juhu..!

However, would u mind very much..trying that out..

Zipping up the EXE I posted....and/or one of your own...Then attempt to post it to the forums..

And see if the error still persists..?

I would appreciate that..
And thanks so much for testing that..It was stressing me right out..

Happy to hear.. this worked for u now...

It's still doing the File is empty thing for me..

I'm afraid to go on with my project..for this error to persist..
I wanted to do a custom menu..and an icon..but there's not alot that can test my game..:(..

All most everyone has Win7 now..except me..
And I have a feeling..some of these errors are related..[In terms of missing files..Audio errors..]
I guess i can try it.. see what happens..

I have tried to upload the zipfile I have created and I get the same error.

At the moment it's really a pain here on the forum. To load a site or to post something takes me sometimes 6-7 times with refreshing and write a post again.
I have begun to copy my posts so that I doesnt have to write it again and again if posting is not working :(

Ok...That's excellent..Thank you so much!~ :D

..and you did it with one of your own..so..It must be a forum issue..Thanks Juhu..Makes me feel better..whew..:D

Ya..i've been doing that forever here....I'll do it before..or while its loading...I had done it for so long..I did it naturally..

Right-click-SelectAll--Right-click--Copy...

Another thing that works- if you forget to copy..;

I have FF..It has an Ad-on- mouse gestures..
[Right-click and drag mouse-Left-right-up or down..ect..]..

While the site is doing its thing....I"ll use the mouse gesture and go back quickly.. to the last page..It's 10*s quicker than the browser.

That'll work if you forget to copy!..lol..

Again Thanks..:) Hopefully now..I just have to take care of audio errors and WIN7..ugh..

It might be due to the fact the code for this forum is an older version. The latest phpBB version is phpBB3. I'm not sure, but it's just a thought.
