How can I change Data-folder to something else?

Postby Sofi » Thu Sep 15, 2011 7:33 pm

Hi all,

I need urgent help. I want to create my exe-file for CD. Normally it creates one setup file and one Data folder. How can I have other name then Data? If I rename it after exe-creation then the application does not working. I must have other name then Data folder

Best Regards

I guess I don't understand. Normally, it should just create an EXE file and that's it. Why does it have a Data folder?

Hi,

The question is very simple. When you make exe file for CD , it creates exe file and Data folder by default. I don't like the folder name duo to some reason. Can I rename it somehow? If rename it then the applicaton can not read it.

Perhaps one way is, if you open the .iss file during creating the files and change the name resp. the folder path.

I don't know if its possible I don't have tried it.

But it seems the only way to change the name without getting a corrupt filepath system.

Hope this helps a bit
