Movie Problems!!!!

Postby FruitStripeApe » Fri Jan 13, 2012 7:26 pm

My movies keep messing up!!!
I just had a missing exe problem but that has been resolved.
So i have a newly reinstalled Full edition 4.6.1
I've been using Anime Studio Debut 8 for my movies.
I can export into Flash .SWF, QuickTime, and AVI format.
In AVI format i can make it
Uncompressed with is 1gig per 30 seconds
Compressions of:
Microsoft RLE
MicroSoft Video 1
Intel IYUV codec
Cinepak Codec by Radius
Xvid Mpeg-4 Codec
DivX 6.9.2 Codec (2 Logical CPUs)
DivX 6.9.2 YV12 Decoder

I also have Magix Movie Edit Pro MX

My movies won't show up in the frame when it's a movie hotspot and only work a fraction of the time when i have it play for a frame appears.

Does AM require a certain Type of codec or certain resolution?
What does AM prefer?

Wow! I use Magix Video Pro 16 and Anime Studio Pro 7! :-)

I save as AVI format, but change the compression to "Microsoft Video 1".
You can use other formats, but as you mentioned, it would require including the video codecs for it.

I've been building videos this way for years and haven't had any issues. There are some people on this forum that have built large commercial games, but they used a different format and included the codecs with the installer. If I can find the threads, there was some very good discussion about this subject matter also.

Post back if you are still having issues!

That has to do with your printer..HP...

Any chance you are using pictures from your photogallery to make the video..You compiled a slide show of some kind..?

Maybe the person's running the game..doesn't have HP..but some other software..?

..It's possible that the pictures you using that are off the internet.. are part of the HP Gallery..And as such..have a copyright issue...

Therefore when a person goes to install game they are prompted to install the rest of the software--[HP]..or at least part of it...

Try replacing a picture..or one at a time..if you can..

Do you have HP..printer..? Any chance you downloaded the pictures in the same place...?

Ok well... I asked if you downloaded from the same place..In case they were all part of a package..from the same source..

However, you said they weren't so..
If you have a friend that is unable to test things for you quickly..then you can try this;

Remove the HP printer from your PC..and all of its components..drivers ect..Image Gallery..all of it..

Compile the game...Double click icon..and install the game..
Then, play it..and see if you don't get the same error..

From there..Remove one picture at a time..and see if you can't find the culprit..

That's one way to go...Or get your friend or whoever is getting error message..to do it for you..by removing one picture at a time..

Make sure you own the DISK first!..so you can re-install..

Assuming of course..this is why you are getting error message..

I'm assuming your friend/tester.. is getting error message, because he or she..doesn't have HP.

Ok, photogallery.msi is part of the software package that comes with an HP product...

It is an MSI (MicroSoft Installer) file, meaning it contains installation information for the Photo Gallery software.

Unfortunately, this installer file often conflicts with other software until it is fixed.

Chances are your friend/tester is getting this..because he or she uses other imaging software..

I shouldn't get this error..because I use HP..

I have downloaded video in. flv

The images used to make this video..Perhaps that's what's giving you the error..?
