A few questions..;
Which version of AM are you using..?
Also, is it the Full version or Free..
XP or windows7...
Have you tried un-installing...then re-installing..
A bit more details would be great..Thanks..
reneuend wrote:Did you install by right-clicking and clicking on "run as administrator"?
I've not seen this error before, but it sounds like possibly a permissions issue.

When you click AM to open it...
I assume you do so by clicking the quick-launch button for AM-- on the taskbar... or...from your start menu button>>>program files? I am opening it from my desktop.
When you import a frame, you do so...while in thumbnail view..
Basically the default page that comes up...once you open up AM- Yes, I am in Thumbnail View
To import a frame..it's a picture you have in your picture folder..or..you can use the tutorial graphics that come with AM.. I have tried importing a .jpg, .bmp and .gif from my picture folder AND tried importing the graphics that come with AM, both bring up this error.
Are you attempting to import a frame..from the project you are working on..or one you did before..?.. I am importing a picture for a new project...
Is it possible you have your folder settings..set differently..Unhide or Hide extensions..
Not sure if that has anything to do with it.. I have 'Display Extensions' checked so I can see the extensions of all files
Button_Activate.fme...
Is that the name of the actual picture you are importing..with extension...?
No, the extension is a .jpg, but it appears as .fme in the error :/
I've never had an error importing a frame..not sure if that's part of the error only.
