BUG when launching a wmv video

Hi i have two frames in adventure maker when i click in my hotspot, its suposed to launch another frame who have tau play a wmv video.

but i have this message.

Before asking a million questions and telling you what I would do, here is one question:

Have you added WMV files from the same source you got this one to AM before?

The reason I'm asking is because you could have a variant of WMV that is not supported by AM.

If so, the fix would be to either use a supported video type or include a codec for the video, you are trying to use. K-Lite is popular and free.

Anyone else have suggestions?

A couple of things..

Are you using script...or the Action tab?;If its script..post the one u are using..

Is the file in the External Folder..?

Also..;

Do you mean you are going to another frame...and...playing video at the same time..?....If so, that might be why the action failed..

mercedes, is supplied in the manual but am not quite understand is why I ask you where should I put the exe with video codecs for the end user to install the game also installed codecs ?thanks in advance you know I have been helpful

I usually use a program called VideoPad videoeditor for convert. to avi, wmv or factory to the same format could be there the problem?

I replied in this thread..about codecs...Is this is a new problem with codecs or videos..?
