displaying picture vb and frame transitions with videos

Is there any way you can display an image using vb what I am trying to do is have a newspaper when clicked on a image of an article will popup . Also when going from one frame to another somtimes the video from the previous frame will remain for a a brief time is there any way to stop this from happening

Hi there..Welcome to the forums..

Yes, you can pull up an image using vb..

You can either have the person go to another frame, where the image will be. Or, you can load the picture in the same frame.

To go to another frame;

Action.gotoframe nameofframe
You can use a transition if you like and/or time it as well.

If you want it to open in the same frame, let me know..and I'll show you what I do..It includes resizing the hotspot..and moving it in runtime..And a variant variable.
This way it looks similar to what you might see in HOG games..
