Awww.. I didn't know Windows had that. I assume it is similar to symbolic links in Unix? I'll give it a try. Thanks!
[EDIT] SHADOWHUNTER!!! As Usual, You Were Right!!!!!
Word of warning folks. If you don't have the target folders setup correctly before making the link, when you open AdventureMaker, it will recreate the share folder back in "My Documents" and you will LOSE your license. In other words, AM will revert to a Free copy with all the limitations. So, be sure to create the folder structure the same as it is in My Document under the target directory.
If you are interested in having AM4.7 look in the D drive instead of the C drive for your shared folder do the following:
1. copy the shared folder structure from My Documents to the D drive location
2. delete the shared folder "Adventure Maker 4.7" and subfolders from "My Documents"
3. Run the Command Prompt as Administrator
4. Enter the following command to create a virtual drive
mklink /D "C:\Users\reneuend\Documents" "D:\New Target Directory"
Now open Adventure Maker and it will read the files from the D drive at the new target directory.
Note: A regular shortcut does NOT work.
