Upgraded to 4.7.1 and now having video issues

Greetings!

I have recently upgraded to 4.7.1 and I'm having an issue with a video that plays in a hotspot. In the previous version (4.5.2) I had the hotspot playing an .avi video in a loop with other hotspots on top of it. The hotspots on top of the video hotspot are only visible when a variable is toggled with a right mouse click. In the new version (4.7.1) The hotspots aren't visible when I right click but they are still "there" as I can click in the general area where they should be and their functions still work.

Also, in 4.7.1, the hotspot turns black when I go to another frame. I'm not using transitions so that shouldn't be an issue. It didn't do this in 4.5.2.

Does anyone have any insight as to how I can get this "back to normal"?
If this issue has already been addressed and I failed to find it on the forums I apologize and I would appreciate a link directing me to the thread.

Was this game ported from the old to the new version?
I'll run some tests and see what happens if I try what you did directly on 4.7.1

When you right-click on the hotspot, it should display an image over the top of the AVI. Does the AVI have to be visible still? If not, you could hide it...if that is what is interrupting the image from being displayed.

I'd like it to be. It's a really simple animation of a man whittling that plays in a loop. It "sets the atmosphere" so to speak.

This does give me an idea for a workaround. I could make 2 videos that are identical except one has all 4 of the hotspot images included in it. When the variable that triggers the hotspots is enabled it can hide one video and show the other. I will try this. However, if it's possible to have it the way I had it in 4.5.2, I would prefer that. It just looks cleaner.
