ok . last one
Worked hard to create the background in bryce.
High qual textures. Separate ocean texture and cove water texture.
I think the foamy water came out decent.

How did you do that the seawaves are breaking on the shore? i like that effect very much but couldn't figuer it out how to make it myself. Perhaps you could give me some hints... I use Vue not Bryce but I guess that doesn't really matter.

thanks all,

harvester,

making the foaming seawater took alot of time.
theres a tutorial at the daz web sitehttp://www.daz3d.com/support/tutorial/tutorial.php?id=685

basically you just keep layering terrains with various cloud
textures , settings and colors.

cheers

Thx

On this image i was trying for realism.
realistic skys in bryce can be a bit tricky.
the lighting as well. Keep in mind its supposed to be a realistic
alien terrrain if theres such a thing.
the last image used a composite sky this one has a brycean

Whadda ya all think?

cheers

my opinion

In my opinion the first sky was more realistic, but the difference in realism is not big, this is good as well. The lighting is good.
