Here's some screenies from the project I'm working on. It started out as a Reality on the Norm spinoff, and has evolved bunches from there. If I can get the hang of the program, and figure out how to make it do all the bits I need, then this'll come out nicely (IMNSHO)

Well put together: outstanding quality from this style I think. It's not easy to make nice scenes from photos, but you succeeded :)

The lack of shadows make them seem somewhat unrealistic...

Hmmm, the lack of shadows doesn't really disturb me.

Nice screens :)

I was having arguments with my shadow layer, so I turned it off to keep me from gnawing a hole through Photoshop :)

And my sense of proportion isn't perfect, there's some awkwardness in the different rooms, in that they all seem to be identical in dimension, even though on paper they aren't.

Hehe, I see

Well, in my personal opinion a game doesn't have to be totally perfect to be enjoyable and entertaining.
Perfection is a "plus" which you can set as goal for your later games, after gathering enough experience :)
