Looking forward to the release.

In the meantime, why don't you post some graphics from the game on your site (or even here) to help show it off? I know you said they wouldn't be great, but people like me would still like to see some sort of promo.

Yes..

The first editon is done in AM becuase it's not multi-player but I hope to make future editons in Flash using ActionScript 3.0

Yes, but there is a chatroom on the website that players can use. And since this is not multi-player, there really isn't a need. I am hoping though to make a trade center of some sort that players could trade players.

Also, how could a player save a game on the web version?

I think you've misunderstood what Candle meant. He meant that the next part of your game which apparently won't be created with AM, needs to be posted in the General Chat section of this forums, and not under New Games Announcements ;)

There is currently no possibility to create a save/load feature for web games.
Please check the detailed comparison of the features for different platforms (Windows / PSP / iPhone & iPod Touch) here:

You can simulate the load/save function by introducing some sorts of checkpoints (for example, you get something like this: "congratulations: you have completed level1. To access level 2 in the future, just enter the following combination in the menu screen: A649").

Does it make sense?

There is a contest posted on the website. If you want, create a MEDIEVAL quest or mini-game and submit it at the appropriate e-mail adress. Please also include all JPEGs or any of the pictures you use.

Thanks!

P.S- Game may be moved back becuase of horrible graphics! Sorry! :(

Actually you don't need the full edition for the checkpoints system: you just have to draw a numeric pad, and then put the hotspots in the order of the combinations ("A649" for example). The non-used numbers are simply left without hotspots. You just need to create as many variables as there are digits in the number. For example, for "A649", you will need to create 4 variables, and change their value in sequence.

Does it make sense?

What I would add is a Weapon Upgrades system that checks if a certain variable is 1 and not 0. That would make it so you could have a weapon do more damage if you are a higher level, got an item, etc.

(Also, you can use a series of variables to get items in a Web game.)
