Voice actors TBA soon
List of beta testers: ADK, Harvester, Lyberodoggy.

Rated: Mature 17+, for nudity, blood and gore.
Release date:Done when it?s done!

What is it about?

It?s a dark fantasy/medieval story driven adventure with bits of role-playing, action and somewhat sparse puzzles. The term role-playing with Black Keep is not about leveling up a hero. It is role-playing a character concept just like one would do with a pen and paper RPG such as making choices and having to deal with the consequences of one?s actions.

Mini blog 03-06-11

Hi all and thanks for keeping your patience with me!

Bout time I updated this mini blog. :P

Game progress is going good but as usual very slow. Since I want to see the game come out one day, I will release it by one part at a time by chapter and I will begin with the prelude.

Finally, I?ve posted new screen shots!

Our web page will be active soon and I will post more up to date news there with concept and screen shots.

Thank you all for your interest in this project. :)

Well done! Nice screens, I like how the game will look like. I'm glad to provide music for such a stuff :)
The story is nice, a bit grammatical correction would be nice, but that's not important. Good luck with the making process! Keep us informed.

No worries, I have an English person for proof reading! I will make all necessary corrections in due time! ;) Oh and I am glad to have you aboard the project for the music, cannot wait to hear for some more! :)

Thanks for the comments everyone. The screenshots are small and do not show much, but I have to be careful with what I "do" show due to the content and subject matter.

The shots above are showing two ruins. The marsh areas are filled with green mist, so they look a bit bland. However, other areas will display much more contrast and colors.

Have you studied 3d design or something?

I wish I was talented in 3d... It's much more difficult than coding.

Each picture can take from 15 mins to 8 hours. It depends on the amount of details.

Do not hide your games; never be shy with your work. Especially if you want, people to notice and play them. ;)

Coding is much more difficult and modeling sometimes needs coding. ;) Especially if you want to create material files for software like Poser and DAZ Studio. I model with Hexagon. I create architecture and some organic models mostly. I purchase licenses to use models, which I do not create myself. I mix 3D with 2D and these are the results I get.

Also they're my fav movies..By reading the description, it occured to me...you should write books as well..~
Really good description..to be honest i never read the description the first time..Takes along time for pages to load for me..but this time I waited..Was worth the wait..Goodluck with this game, I beleive it will do really well. By the way...your technique in the tut section has made me redo all of my frames...ahahah..:P I could so seee the difference now..

You are not the first one to suggest I should write something. I am not that bad at story telling, probably comes from my extensive tabletop RPG gaming experience as a game's master. However, I feel I am not that good at writing; my strength lies in visuals mostly. But who knows. ;) One thing I am working on when I need to cool off from work is comic strips based on many of my settings. Which combine my story telling and visual skills. However, I have yet to release something publicly.

Good to hear that you found the tutorial useful. I will try to release the next one soon.

I should have more news concerning Black Keep soon. Just trying to avoid spoiling too much!

I like your style too.
And I like writting too, the point is I never come to create a game based on the scenario I 've written.

My favourite part is directing, editing films. That's really great, I like it very much.

Unfortunately, I am an amateur with literally no experience...

Thanks, Lybero! :)

Why don't you study what you like at a college?

Because THEY have greater plans about me (my mother that is)

She wants me to go to University (which must be one of those with the highest score to participate) and will kill me if I do anything else.

Yet, I will do what I want after I am 18...

I have no doubt your music will "rock" and be "great" at the same time, Harvester! ;)

As for the release of the game, I am trying to have it by December; however, that will depend on two things.

First, if I can get all the scripts and ideas working without too much trouble.

Second, I am very close to getting an important deal with new Role-playing game books. If I do seal the deal, than that will really keep me busy. In any event, the game will still be worked on, that I know of. ;)
