Hello, I am new here to the forums, I have been developing games for the pc using a full copy of adventure maker. I try to make full use of the great plug-ins availble here. I am currently developing my fourth game titled 'House' for Pc which is 50% complete. I have a full inventory system viewer etc, my own musical scores and 3D enviroments that I modeled in Cinema 4D.

The game is a about a young girl called 'Marion' who lived at penworth mansion and dabbled in the occult, ouija ect. The game has a spooky type feel but not overall, you are an investigator and must solve the riddle and lay the past of penworth manor to rest.

I have included screen shots, the game is free so will at some point upload the full game, I will need to compress the game somehow? it's rather big in file size, full 3D animation etc. I hope you like the look of the game, and
best wishes to you all,

Mike.

Hi Harvester, thanks for your kind comments and encouragement, I will dig out some screens of my older games, glad you like!!

I love the AM software, I think it's a real gem!! :D

I will update when the download is availble, the only thing I have some difficulty with is puzzles! They are quite hard I think, so my puzzles are generally more simple. Riven always blew me away! the puzzles are so in depth.

Best,

Mike.

Wonderful screens there stargazer... :)

And let me also welcome you to the forums. As Harvester said, it's nice to have yet more talent here...

When your game's done, let me know and I'll add it to the games page of the AM website.

Good luck with it! :D

Thanks, merc, for your comments, yes I am using the light plug-in for the game, great plug-in. I have some other games but they still have bugs as they were made earlier, and the last two games I lost the project files due to major hard disk failure, I was really gutted!

Best wishes,

Update!!

Postby stargazer_1988 » Wed Oct 29, 2008 1:35 am

Hi,

I have completed 85% of house although I feel the game will have to be in two parts, as the install is rather large at the mo! I have had a nasty ankle injury so I have been a little lazy latley but I am slowly working towards completion of the first part. I going to post some new screen shots soon for you to see so I will keep you posted. Hope you are all well,

Take care,

StarGazer.

Hi Stargazer, I'm looking forward to seeing more images about the game.
How many mb occupies the full game?
I hope you recover soon from your injury.

Hi Vairon,

The full game is about 340MB at the moment but I can compress that more by converting any BMP images into jpg which will reduce the size greatly. They are full screen images 1024x768 I will post some screens in a bit so keep looking!!

Please post what you would need in beta testers here.
The more info you can give them the better info you get back from your beta testers.
Please don't PM me questions, ask here in the forums!

House beta 0.9 ready for download!

Postby stargazer_1988 » Sat Dec 06, 2008 3:45 pm

Hi,

House beta 0.9 part I, is now ready for download!

http://www.esnips.com/web/stargazer1988adventure/

There is a limitation in this version!! the book of the dead which is a journal etc, is not complete yet but will be in version 1.0. Many more pages to follow! Its just very time consuming that's all!

There maybe still some navagatinal issues which I will eradicate in version 1.0, also I have ironed out the bugs I have found, but some may be still around.

Part II to follow in the new year!

Best,

StarGazer.
